From the Principal

Students in Andrea Corkran, Rebecca Schroeder and Renee Piers classes spent weeks preparing for International Day.  Students researched Canadian facts, songs and foods.  All of their hard-work paid off as families, staff and students were treated to wonderful, and informative performances on Friday.
Following the performances, students enjoyed a taste of Canada by sampling authentic foods and drinks from our neighboring country.
International Day Canada would not have been possible without the hard-work and dedication of Andrea Corkran, Rebecca Schroeder, Renee Piers and Ann Steers, their students and their amazing team of parent volunteers.  A huge thank you goes out to all who contributed!!
This year, rather than celebrate Halloween on October 31st, we will be celebrating Dia de los Muertos* on November 1stTherefore, students WILL NOT be wearing costumes to school on Halloween.  * Please contact Stefanie Limas if you are interested in helping with this event!
