I grew up near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My love for children drew me to the field of education, and I continue to embrace my profession after 23 years. I earned my BSED in Primary-Kindergarten Education from the University of Delaware, with a minor in Special Education and Counseling, and I am certified in Play Therapy. I volunteer for the International Baccalaureate Organization as a Workshop Leader, Evaluator and Consultant.
As an educator, I believe that I am in the field of “Construction Management.” What drives me is my belief that all students can learn. My goal is to support teachers in constructing a learning environment that will enable all children to learn in a way that is safe, engaging and challenging.
My husband, Jack, serves with Compassion International in the area of Leadership Development, with a focus on strengths-based employee engagement. Together, we have raised four wonderfully unique daughters. They have taught us the value of recognizing and appreciating the strengths that each of us contribute to a team.
I am excited to be serving the GVA community as an Instructional Coach and School Assessment Coordinator. It is a privilege for me to be supporting such a talented team of educators from around the globe in bringing the best in education to each of our students!
