Mozart Strings Project/Instrument Try Out

The Mozart Strings Project is part of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony.

•Bring your child so they can hear the instruments demonstrated and get sized.

•You will have the opportunity to register for the program and rent an instrument from Graner Music if desired.

•GVA is one of 5 sites where we provide after-school string instruction for 2nd-5th graders in Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass.

•This is a full year program that only costs around $7.00 an hour. There is a payment plan available as well as financial aid for those who are eligible. Students also participate in a Youth Symphony fundraiser to keep tuition low.

•We accept 3rd-5th graders (and 2nd graders who meet certain requirements)

•There are beginner, intermediate and advanced classes.

•After graduating from the Mozart program, students are eligible to audition for the first of 6 orchestras
