Creating a Global Village: Understanding Culture

 

This video gives a case study of Global Village Academy’s efforts to address the issue of cultural competency among the parents and staff of this extremely diverse school.  This video features candid discussions among the school’s administrators, teachers and parents.  The video also features Dr. Michael Byram, professor emeritus at the University of Durham, England, who explains the role that culture plays in language education.
