Uniform Policy Update-Effective August 2019
Why School Uniforms?
Research has shown schools that require school uniforms increase safety by identifying trespassers, reducing the differences in social and economic status by promoting equality and improving academic performance by increasing students’ attention toward their studies.
Elementary School
- Bottom Colors- Navy Blue and Khaki Uniform Bottoms
- Polo Colors/Polo Dress Colors- Red, Navy, Royal Blue and Hunter Green
- Solid Color Leggings/Tights/Socks Colors- Navy, Red or White (Tights and leggings can only be worn under skirts or jumpers not separately)
- Plaid Skirt/Jumper- Blue and Red Plaid on French Toast Website
- Sweater/Jacket- Red, Navy, Royal Blue and Hunter Green- solid colors no hoods
- Long Sleeve Shirts Under Polos- Must be plain in color and in uniform colors
- Shoes- Tennis Shoes Only (any color)
*Students are required to wear a polo shirt on Mondays-Thursdays, they can wear a GVA t-shirt on Friday.
Middle School

- Polo Colors- Black, Gray, White and Maroon
- Solid Color Leggings/Tights/Sock Colors- White, Black or Gray (Tights and leggings can only be worn under skirts or jumpers not separately)
- Plaid Skirt- Blue and Red Plaid on French Toast Website
- Sweater/Jacket- Black, Gray, White and Maroon-solid color no hood
- Long Sleeve Shirts Under Polos- Must be plain in color and in uniform colors
