Congrats to GVA-DC for LabelFrancÉducation Repeat Recognition

GVA Douglas County celebrated an important achievement on Monday, December 1 as the school was awarded the LabelFrancÉducation certificate for the second time. This international recognition is granted by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs to schools that excel in French-language instruction and demonstrate a strong commitment to bilingual education.

The Consul General of France, Adrien Frier, along with Honorary Consul Omar Soubra, visited the campus to present the certificate. During their visit, they met with students and staff to learn more about the program and the daily work happening in French immersion classrooms.

Receiving the LabelFrancÉducation designation again affirms the high quality of instruction at GVA Douglas County. It reflects the expertise of the teachers, the hard work of the students, and the strong support of families who value a dual-language experience.

Principal Stacy Bush expressed her gratitude to the school community, stating that the recognition honors the passion and purpose teachers bring to their classrooms each day.

This achievement reinforces the school’s continued commitment to offering a world-class bilingual education for all students.
