Testing Window: April 6 - April 23
The CMAS (Colorado Measures of Academic Success) assessments measure student performance in key subject areas. Results provide information to support schools and the district in understanding student learning, guiding curriculum and instruction, and informing school-wide planning.
Testing Schedule by Grade and Subject:
- Grades 3–8: English Language Arts & Math
- Grades 5 & 8: Science
- Grades 4 & 7: Social Studies (administered only if selected through the CDE lottery)
Please see the detailed 2025–2026 GVADC CMAS Testing Schedule here.
Testing sessions are conducted during the regular school day, and students will complete assessments during their designated sessions at school. If a student is absent or arrives after a session has begun, a make-up session may be scheduled.
Why CMAS Matters:
- Allows your child to demonstrate their learning and progress.
- Helps us understand how well we are teaching and supporting all students.
- Provides valuable information to families and state officials.
