We are thrilled to recognize GVA-DC PE Teacher Justyna Bondaruk (Miss B) for receiving an exciting and well-deserved honor as this year’s Westerra Credit Union Teacher First Pitch honoree!
As part of this special recognition, Miss B will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Colorado Rockies vs. Atlanta Braves game on Saturday, May 2, at Coors Field during Rockies Teacher Appreciation Week.
More than 200 nominations were submitted by students, families, colleagues, and community members, each sharing stories of educators who make a lasting difference. Miss B stood out for the incredible impact she has on students both in and out of the classroom.
Her energy, dedication, and passion for helping students grow make her a true all-star in our community. We are so proud to see her recognized on such a big stage and know she will represent GVA-DC so well.
