Accessibility Maturity

Global Village Academy is at the following accessibility maturity level for 2024.

Stage	Status	Criteria
Inactive	In-progress	There is no awareness and recognition of need. At this stage, organizations are inventorying their technology, have begun to make investments, etc….
Launch	In-progress	Recognized need organization-wide. Planning was initiated, but activities were not well organized.
Integrate	In-progress	A roadmap, including a timeline, is in place, and the overall organizational approach is defined and well-organized.
Optimize	Not-started	Incorporated into the whole organization, consistently evaluated, and actions taken on assessment outcomes.

Why We Are at This Stage

On February 16, 2024, the Colorado Charter School Institute (CSI) informed Colorado public charter schools of the requirement to comply with Colorado HB21-1110. We encountered administrative and financial difficulties, slowing our progress. We’ve assessed our current status and created a high-level project plan. Our staff is actively incorporating accessibility into their ongoing responsibilities.
